Malon Meredith
President / Owner
Before founding Axis Media in 2002, Malon’s experience included working for SAIC, a fortune 300 company here in San Diego, as Senior New Media Producer in the Marketing Communication department. Before working at SAIC, Malon worked at ESPN as an Associate Producer for events such as X-Games and college football.
When he’s not working with clients at Axis Media, Malon can be found mountain biking, hiking, and spending time with his two boys. He also brings his knowledge to the students of Platt College, where he teaches Web and Video classes.
Malon holds a BA from Rollins College in Winter Park Florida and also studied at Sydney University in Australia.
Melissa Cabral
Web Designer and Developer
With a foundation in fine art and a BS in Media Arts from Platt College in San Diego, Melissa brings a passion for design to Axis Media. Creative since a very young age, Melissa is happiest when tasked with finding “outside the box” solutions to projects large and small. Melissa values the immediacy of the web as a communication tool and enjoys the challenge of keeping up with an ever-changing industry. One of her favorite tasks at the moment is developing themes for Wordpress.
When she’s not building websites, Melissa can be found teaching the art of web development to the students of platt college, and planning her next trip to the land of the rising sun.
